How to reduce the amount of sleeping?

I was very depressed today, especially when I arrived here.

Today, I got up at 11 a.m. So I didn't have any time to have breakfast and take care of something I had to do. On holidays, I couldn't get up before noon. Here is my sleeping schedule during the last weekend.

Friday : 10 hours
Saturday : 12 hours
Sunday : 10 hours + 3 hours (taking a nap)


I had lots of things to do but I couldn't do it.

These days, I seriously think that my life would have changed little bit if I had reduced sleeping time. I saw many diligent people here, so I envy them very much.

What should I do to reduce my sleeping time?

When I was younger, My mom used to spray water over me to wake me up. It hurt my self-respect a little bit..But..it was an effective way!!

I don't want you to feel ashamed about yourself. It will cause more stress. And you are doing fine. Usually, when you work in a shcool, you don't have enough sleep becasue of hectic work scheduales. Why don't you think it is the perfect time for you to appreciate your health and rest?
Sleep enough when you can do it.

I had a typo and deleted the comment. Actually, I wanted to copy and paste it with the error corrected, but I deleted it accidently, I am so sad.ㅠㅠ Anyway, my advice was that if you think you had enough sleep, just get up and move around or do something exciting! I also like to sleep in, especially during weekends. But sleeing too much does not feel good. It makes me sometimes depressed as you said.
But don't try too hard. You know beauties sleep a lot.(My typo was "beaties")

Hi,Iris, I understand you very much. Our enemy, sleep! but you don't sleep during the class, right?. I envy you. It's a blessing. At night, sometimes I listen to music, and watch old drama again and again. During that time I am not sleepy at all, but once the class begins, sleep rushs to my whole body, and I can't resist.It's like I am paralyzed. If you sit up late, think of man you love or loved and listen to sweet songs.
You can expel sleep, and then study. Maybe it'll be helpful, good luck!

Iris,

You have to sleep much on weekends.
Sometimes we can feel depressed with so much time in sleeping.
But you should know sleeping is a good one for us to keep busy on weekdays.
Have fun.....on a class picnic tomorrow....

Hi Iris,
That's a lot of sleep but I guess your body needs it so don't feel too badly. Perhaps a little regular exercise would help give you some more energy. I know that I sleep more intensely and for a shorter time when I've gotten a regular walk.
